The Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) Advisory Commission improves transit services planning, and programs by advising DDOT’s staff members and executive director concerning transit policy and service issues. The commission ensure that the public transit system meets the needs of the community.
Membership The Advisory Commission is composed of a minimum of (7) Members, a resident of each of the seven (7) City Council Districts.
Meetings Meetings are held four (4) times a year on the 3rd Monday of the months of March, June, September, and December. Occasionally, there are special meetings in the intervening months. A quorum of four members constitute the majority. Members are appointed by the Director of DDOT.
