Sweetwater Authority's Administrative Offices

Sweetwater Authority is a publicly-owned water agency with policies and procedures established by a seven-member Board of Directors. The Sweetwater Authority Governing Board is composed of five directors elected by division by the citizens of the South Bay Irrigation District, and two directors appointed by the Mayor of National City, subject to City Council confirmation.

The mission of Sweetwater Authority is to provide its current and future customers with a safe and reliable water supply through the use of the best available technology, sound management practices, public participation and a balanced approach to human and environmental needs.

Meetings of the Governing Board are held at Sweetwater Authority’s Administrative Offices located at 505 Garrett Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910. They meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5 pm and 4th Wednesday of every month at 5 pm.

Meetings are open to the public, and agendas are posted the Friday prior to each scheduled meeting.
