Is to consider a text amendment that would amend ch 61 of the 1984 Detroit City Code. The proposed ordinance would alter provisions related to 3 overlay areas:
TSMO - Traditional Main Overlay Area

Server design standards are proposed
requirements include:
1.) Transparency - at least 50% windows
2.) Main entrance is on the street
3.) entrance is 30 ft away from street
4.) Design Standards such as no LED Rope lights no corrugated metal panels or shipping containers

It is proposed that parking requirements are reduced for new buildings
