This meeting follows 12 days of departmental budget hearings and is the next step in the city’s process for approving a 2023 budget. At this meeting, members of the public will have a chance to comment on the budget and alders will introduce the actual legislation needed to approve and tweak the budget proposal.

You have the option of documenting this meeting in person or remotely. If you choose to attend in person, an additional hour will be added to your total assignment hours.

@CHIdocumenters Public comments included speaker from BLACHE who spoke on money going to black communities for HIV,AIDs. Said are white organizations providing services, receiving over 90% of money. These services are culturally inappropriate, ineffective we know because the rates are increasing
