Join us for this special in-person orientation. In this one-hour workshop we will introduce you to the Detroit Documenters community. Find out how we help build the public record by paying people to attend local government meetings and take notes.
We will also introduce you to the Freelance Journalist Network, and you will have a chance to meet and interact with some of our media partners.
Refreshments will be served! Come as early as 5:30 p.m. to check out our office, grab snacks and get settled. We will start the presentation promptly at 6:00 p.m.
This training is required for Documenters to be eligible for paid assignments.
