• Postponed a decision on a proposed emergency shelter (Lake Shore Care) at 918 W Lake Street. During the public hearing, five community members spoke in opposition to the location, citing a detrimental impact on the already struggling commercial corridor.
• Approved all variance requests for a medical and dental clinic by the Indian Health Board of Minneapolis. A community member objected to the lack of parking in the request. The item was passed with one abstention.
• Approved renaming the section of Russell Avenue North between Plymouth and 12th Avenues after Bernadette Anderson, a community activist and youth advocate who died in 2003.
