With the bus rapid transit pilot come additional bus stop amenities and increased bus frequency on several routes. Bus service changes begin Jan. 22. DDOT Reimagined final draft available to the public on Feb. 1, public hearing on Feb. 15, public comment open until March 17.

DDOT response: Starting the pilot program, DDOT reimagined on Monday.
DDOT: Looking at another department to recoup licensing, training
DDOT: Cleaning regiment- buses are cleaned daily (sweeping and mopping). Once per month, deep cleaning, removing seats and disinfect using heat.
Caller: Suggests deep cleaning should happen
DDOT: There is dedicated staff (Coach Service Attendant) at each terminal responsible for cleaning the coaches.

DDOT: DDOT has a directive to increase service to pre-COVID levels for reliability.
Supervisors will be on routes to pay attention to operators that may be passing passengers. DDOT encourages passengers to report

Dexter route is very disappointing. One driver is almost always on time. Wonders why other drivers are not on time. Perhaps the on time driver can be mentors.
Need more bus schedules at the main library.
DDOT: Has a set up a service reliability committee that should target reliability issues with routes as well as monitored operators.
Concerned that administration does not reach out to drivers/operators to listen to operators concerns and the issues important to drivers.
DDOT: Will join Ms. Dorsey on her bus next week.
